The new media collaboration with Diva.sk will help build awareness of local fashion

At the Slovak Fashion Council, we systematically map the Slovak fashion ecosystem, and our goal is to provide a unique list of presentation and sales locations focusing on Slovak and local fashion and design. We aim to make it easier for the public to find and support Slovak designers and fashion brands, and this is the main focus of our Fashion Map project.

We are pleased that the Fashion Map will be available on the Diva.sk website, a part of the most-read news portal Aktuality.sk. Our online catalog Fashionmap.sk will thus be accessible to the general public through an additional channel. Cooperation between SFC and Diva.sk will help build awareness of local fashion and increase awareness of individual members of the map.

Nowadays, there are many different angles from which we explore sustainability in fashion. Let's not forget the power we have as consumers and the influence our purchasing decisions have on the industry. The small steps we take each day are the key to building a more sustainable future of fashion.

Fashion Map and the online version of Fashionmap.sk offer great tools for obtaining relevant information on authentic design and creativity. These platforms not only support the sustainability of local economies but also enable the visibility of designer studios and showrooms, which are the hidden treasures of our local fashion world.

At the Slovak Fashion Council, we believe that the fashion map is a valuable resource for all those who value the environment, are looking for authentic inspiration, and active support of local designers. We should take the opportunity to make conscious purchasing decisions and create positive change in the fashion industry.

Fashion Map paves the way to more sustainable and fairer fashion. It is up to us to use these tools and help bring positive change through our everyday choices. Let's not forget that even the tiniest steps can hugely impact the future of fashion.
