The Slovak designers stole the show at the Budapest Central European Fashion Week

The Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency (MDDÜ) recently organized the thirteenth edition of the Budapest Central European Fashion Week from January 22nd to 28th. The main venue of the event was the Museum of Fine Arts. Two Slovak designers, Jane Vaterková and Karin Elízová, the finalists of the Best Fashion Talent 2023 award, showcased their collections.

In June, we had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious event Global Fashion Summit, which took place in the lively environment of a concert hall in Copenhagen.

The European Fashion Alliance (EFA) held its first political fashion round table in Brussels.

At the beginning of June, the first political discussion of the European Fashion Alliance (EFA), of which the Slovak Fashion Council is also a member, took place in Brussels. EFA is an organization representing the European clothing segment, and its mission is to promote sustainability and innovation in the fashion industry. The event, attended by prominent EU officials, was opened by Thierry Breton, EU Commissioner for the Internal Market, and Dr. Christian Ehler, Member of the European Parliament.
